Im so happy guys! I just looked at my account and realized I got an award! Its my first award ever, and Ive been on this game for nearly a year.

Still have to many horses in primary. Not sure what to do. I have 25 Ivs. I have 240 horses in my primary. So I need a 210 stall barn in order to make my create.

Barn Giveaway Contest

With the create spree from the herd helper and new player changes at full tilt and pastures opening for some of us tomorrow, I imagine a lot of people are a bit short on barn space. I will be giving away prizes in the amount of 500k, which is enough to buy 40 IVs, which is enough to buy a 120 stall barn if you are still buying barns at the base rate.

Rules:
1). This contest is open to all players, regardless of age of account. If your account is too young to receive hbs from another player, we will work the prize give away as a horse sale.

2). You MUST use your winnings to buy a barn. If you already have enough stall space that 40 IVs won’t buy you a 120 stall barn, you still must invest in the largest barn you can for that amount of IVs. This is not a cash infusion for your account.

3). I will be giving away at least 10 prizes in the amount of 500,000hbs each. Any one player (not account, not household) may win only one prize. If you have multiple players in one household, all individual players may enter. However, if you as a single player have more than one account, only one account may enter.

4). Judging will be solely at my discretion.

5). Failure to submit entries correctly will render your entry invalid.

I just picked up 31 horses with minimum 250points each. I paid no more then 3k for all but 1 (paid 3100hb for her, a 6th gen satin and gp carrying intact mare). Some of these horses i was the only bidder on.
Yet theres people that are paying 5k or more for these in the public sales :O

People check out the Auctions!! Even if you aren't on at auction ending time you may end up being the only bidder and winning anyway!

I hope this is ok. This has been inspired by recent forum shows and a thread in another part of the forum about PT.

Top Prize - 100,000 HBs

Closing date for entries - 10th April 2018 at 6pm game time

Winner to be announced - May 1st

There are 3 parts to this competition.

Lowest PT score. This must be from a newly created horse created during this month/game year - horses bred for low PT will not be accepted.

Worst Show Horse. Nominate a gelding or spayed mare that you think will perform poorly (preferably one that you have kept just because it was too pretty to auction!)

Unplanned Bland Foal. One of those foals that come from gorgeous, flashy parents but are born bay, black or another mundane colour. Must be born this month/game year.

How it works. The points that the show horse has accrued between the 10th to the 30th April will be added to the PT score.

The bland foal will be scored on a scale of 1-3 on how big a disappointment it is (1 not unexpected, 2 bearable, 3 painfully disappointing)

The score of the foal will be SUBTRACTED from the combined PT and show score.

(So, for example, Dorris rates the low PT horse at 3
The worst show horse wins 5 points
The fugly foal is scored 3 points

so 3 + 5 = 8 - 3 = 5.
The player's score will be 5 )

The lowest score wins!

I can't announce it to personal family and friends yet (per new mamas request) but here is fine :)

This morning at 8:23am my sister in law had a 9 pound 4 ounce healthy baby boy via c-section! So far they both are doing great! He was born 4 days before his due date.

Sadly we won't get to go visit them in the hospital but I'm sure they need their rest. It's all so exciting!
My son doesn't know it yet but I'm sure they'll be best friends in no time :>

One of the hardest lessons I had to learn as a new player was to not keep a sub-par horse intact for breeding simply based on the fact I wanted the genes they carried. With this in mind I would like to reward 10 players who follow through with good breeding practices. If you alter a foal who you were tempted to keep intact because of genes even though they test only "as good as sir", or were inconsistent, or who didn't paper red or B at 2gen I want you to post a picture of your altered foal here and I will send you a fully tested foal as similar in genes to the one you posted for 1hb. Please keep in mind I breed for draft and I normally don't do Fantasy genes, though I do have a few. I breed even generation and will stick with 2nd gen foals only. I just bred my pastures today so it might take me some time to get the foals sent out. I will start with the first 10 people but I may extend it further.
