Well I guess her name fits her. Ol Silver took a chunk out of my funds. I heard that back in the day on here horses could rack up some damages, but it wasn't much of an issue anymore. I've only ever seen 1 or 2 hbs worth of damages until now.( on my other account)113 hbs in one go, I wonder what she did. Let's hope she doesn't make this a habit.

This is a purely fun contest and everyone is eligible to enter!

The theme for this contest is "THE NAME GAME"!
Yes, we still want to see those pretty ponies BUT it's their marvelous monikers we are judging this time!

I've been collecting RS roughly since I joined, around the time Nanotech Primer was issued, and I was curious what my collection was looking like, so I found the RS Master List. I have at least one of nearly every ome of them, except 5 or 6 (out of about 39), and multiples of several of them!

All 3057 of my horses now have names and also the correct generation marker.

I left about 800 horses without a name for over 6 months, and have been fixing that problem the last two days. It's over now, thank god.

So far I've bred 8 brindles all up. (Actually bred not foundations).
The first one I didn't even know and a few ibe sold as stallions as they were wasted with me but it's left me with a few show pony brindles :) none this year though.

Selling a few horses to make some room. Most are foundation, some lined. Include homozygous rabicano, heterozygous sabino 1, and tobiano frame.

How can we make a buddy system that works?

Our community here is amazing and something to be proud of, but it can always be intimidating for someone coming in from the outside to insert themselves in a new group. We have had many requests for a buddy system over the years but honestly I have no idea how we could make one that would work.

Here are some questions I have:
How would we make it easy for new users to get involved?
What if the new user is not a good fit for the game community?
What if the mentor buddy is not a good fit for the job?
How do we make it scaleable and maintain a quality experience?

I am open to ideas but really have no idea how something like this might work.

I LOVE how Nacre looks and decided to try to get a GMT-able RS stallion to put it on. After a day of camping out the HH daily posts, I got lucky and got a Wet and Wild boy (pearl carrier - yes!! This gene looks so awesome on pearl).

I decided to throw an Appy gene on him before another pearl/cream since the gene also looks so good with bold white patterns. Boy did I get bold! Turns out he is homPATN1. You can't really see the Nacre very well at all, except in his mane and tale. Oops... xD

Okay, so i just used an ice8 straw on one of my foundation mares, and, well..

Christmas In Oakland

She failed, and got a 7.80 . I personally think that she is gorgeous and i really REALLY wanna keep her for my breeding stock (seeing as she is a SILVER ice foal.) But i dont know what to do.. i cant show her, i dont want to sell her back to the game and i really dont want to sell her to anyone else..

What should i do? Im so conflicted guys ~X(

EDIT: I also dont have enough money to genetically modify her. Should i just risk breeding her..?

I love the new Nacre gene, and after using my boy for pasture breeding I pulled some straws and crossed him with other closed/fantasy genes. These foals are uneven, some tested, some not, some were complete flukes...these are my latest Frankenfoals 8-X
