Pictures I drew were something in the middle between a brown dun and a dark sooty plus bay dun. He was in the large for a pony, small for a horse range, and often criticized for not coming from pedigreed lines, but being a horse caught in the Wildlands, yet he was his master's favorite steed aside from the dragon. Got an AGA colt from my new DarkStar boy, and looking at him, I realized he was Konick, the goal I had with my herd. True, his Pt is low and I will have to make him consistent, but he is aga and everything else I am looking for, plus het satin, which I've decided I am not as against as I used to be, so that is a fun plus as well. Still, with the high turnover rate with bootstrap studs lately with many getting replaced before they even reach age I am telling myself that I am setting myself up for trouble. Getting way too excited over this little boy. :)
