Don’t order genes late at night when you’re tired, and also make sure you have the correct horse selected in the drop down menu to avoid disasters like this one...

I changed his bone density a few days ago and his picture went wonky. I tried refreshing and rerolling but stayed the same. Today I had another look at him and tried refreshing and rerolling, but his picture is determined to stay wonky!

I got this little filly from an egg from ParadisePark (thank you so much). She is very pretty. First time I have ever used the lab for anything other than straws. Very interesting - expensive but interesting. And I do love her - esp that white bum :X

My mom always says don't spend money on online games because the game will one day go away and then so will all the money you spent on it. This seems to be the same with any perishable thing though. How much money have I spent on feeding goats and then the one I have been feeding the longest died on me... kinda goes with the territory. On the other note, love this game, and it is still going great, and although it is growing and needs more money, it is not turning solely into a money grab like other games that chased me away after a year or so. This has been 2 spectacular years on the game and I want to see it continue. I have spent some money on genes in the past, but now thunderstruck and ice 9 at a price that I technically can afford has me seeing stars! I'm telling myself that I will likely be forking over money like that for school dance formation uniforms this month anyway, so... but I am already forking over money that I originally hadn't budgeted. I also really don't need to be quite as stingy because I broke down and went back to applying for fasfa scholarships instead of trying to work to pay for college completely out of pocket. Would you guys say spending more because you have scholarships is ethical though? I need to figure out how much this dance uniform will cost exactly. Wait for me to put in my gene order on the last day. haha

I told myself I can't allow myself to be spending money if I couldn't find a spectacular horse to put it on. Well guess who popped up with an exceptional herd helper this morning.

I'd be adding dun, along with the thunder and ice, of coarse, as well as taking off frame and making him hom E, but he looks so much like the stud that won over my heart when I started, Wildly Generous, and he can throw 2 different varieties of bay dun once I ad the dun!

What do you guys think? How many of you guys have Ice 9 or Thunder? What do your ponies look like? All the decision. haha

I don't quite know what to make of it. He's only shown once and won, so that is a good thing, but how many shows should I put him through before knowing if he needed to be culled or not?

How are people able to tell if a horse is a low, mid or high C, B, Yellow, Red, Blue, etc..? I can't figure it out or are people estimating based off of the horse's papers they bred together.

Hi , I have been on hj2 for a while now and have thought of a better way to gain a show herd . So here I go .
Firstly I am going to be no longer breeding anything over a 2nd gen ( for now )
I will be breeding the highest quality 2nd gen foals as possible and using all the altered to join my show herd .
This means I am going to be left with many high quality horses being wasted .
I would like to know your opinion on whether I should keep them and put them up for breeding every year ( I would put a link up each season) also I love seeing everyone else’s foals out of my mares.
The alternative option is that I test all of the mares and stallions ( I would if they were up for brood or stud also) and sell them for appropriate prices around 5,000 to 10,000 depending on colour/ quality
That’s a lot to read however I’d like to know your thoughts on it :) TIA

Edit : if I kept them straws would also be available

I've been looking at this gene since I joined. I see I don't need a license for it, yet so far I haven't seen any any available. If anyone has a chestnut little boy, not too high paper, that they would be willing to part with for a fairly low price... Please let me know?

*Other colors considered, but red based preferred.
