So after playing for just over a year I am coming to the realization what I love to breed for.
Kit M, Liver S+, Pearl, KP, W3, W10, Nexus. I think thats it. Maybe some classic champagnes.

The problem. My barns are stuffed full of pretty ponies I have spent time and money on. Even the WaterColor isnt doing it for me. I dont know what to do. Looking for advice, pros and cons of somewhat starting over. What do I do with the horses with good points? Im finally making OK showing bonus. Im overwhelmed every breeding season. Oyvey.

So I’m slightly let down by my Freaky Friday create after all the hype about them over the few months I’ve been playing.

This is the colt in question

Now I am not a big fan of frame and try not to let it in my herd anywhere so I had plans to save up those $$ to GMT it off. What I didn’t count on was ending up with a black as opposed to a liver.
Being a relatively new player, I’ve got no experience with gene modifying so I’m uncertain how it all works. In the list of mods and their costs, is it 1 token to change Olw to O or the other way around?

If I keep this guy, I’m already looking at 500k minimum to completely remove frame. If I were to change him into a liver, is that another 2 GMT tokens; one for each dominant E? Or does it work as a whole and you only need one to change EE to ee?

I suppose what I really want to know is whether it’s worth all the GMT tokens just to end up with a hom DP liver foundation or should I sell my Freaky Friday and put that towards the cost of 10 tokens to put an extra DP on a future create? Should I compromise and see if I can trade him for a GMTable liver FF that I’ll just have to cut the frame off? If I were to just sell, what is the going price? Hidden Gates we’re selling for a fortune when they came out and tbh I preferred them xD

I am having a very hard time with hoarding right now.. they breed like rabbits around here! Lol
I have too many great horses and not enough time to do all of my breeding and organizing with them! Not to mention too poor for additional barn space at the moment. Hehe

SOOO.. I'll be giving away an undecided amount, yes I have no idea how many horses I'll give away.. lmao to the first five new (under FIVE months old) players who tell me why they love horses, post their personal favorite horse they own, and what two colors of Warmbloods (I apologise WBs are all I breed for right now) they like the most! :)

I will try to give you a horse that matches close to what you like!

All I ask is that you not remove tattoos and if you no longer want one of them please sell them back to me. I appreciate even breeding, but that is up to you whether you decide to or not. :)

Recently I have become a lot more active on the forum and it’s proving to help a lot and provides fun and a good conversation at the same time . This is mainly because of the lovely community :)

I’ve made a post to discuss what ideas you may have to celebrate my anniversary on this enjoyable game .

I’m planning way ahead so I can start to build up some funds before November so it can be a nice time for everyone .

I’d love to hear some ideas on what I could do / hold from everyone else as I’m not very creative :(

Wow , well I finally had a go at bootstrapping to add some more show ponies to my barns and it’s already proving helpful. I’ve had almost double the amount of foals I usually have .( I normally only breed my pasture once ) however I had some spare 2nd gen and 3rd gen mares and I Even had one intact filly :) I’m very surprised as I thought they’d be all spayed or gelded but we have one and she’s very pretty ;)

In May, I bred her to one of my liver stallions, not really paying attention to the fact that he's het snowflake. I just wanted a liver foal. This happened:

Specktacular turned 3 this month and I found a nice mare of @S00ner0rLater up for brood, so I gave him a trial run. Although their colt didn't inherit Llp, he did pass SBA, so I took a calculated risk and GMT'd Llp on him:
PFR SNF Splendidly SBA Hom snowflake, hom Appaloosa, hom PATN1, and SBA. Oh, and het for S+ (Can you tell I'm excited?)

As an encore, I bred my good ExPro mare to @Goobanni's super nice stallion and voila:

So I’m quite partial to roan and rabicano, and mainly focus on breeding livers and chocolates. Im sure you can imagine my excitement when I decided to create a stallion using the Exceptional Producing Rabicano HH; where usually I bulk create mares! This guy is perfect and everything I could want in a liver foundy stud. See his name, that actually happened ;) My dogs were jumping around celebrating with me xD

So, the random generator gods have not favoured me this breeding season so far.
I just did a super stupid thing and accidentally bred my Mushroom girls. So I decided to break down and breed some of my Chinchillas to see if they would make me feel better.
Not so much.
All my homozygus babies got snipped! :((
And some of my het babies that I loved passed BA but failed SBA. >.<

On the bright side I did get a few hets that are keepers and I have some cute showponies.

While I do not want to steer away from my goal to breed true to life Thoroughbreds in basically all but name, I've realized I've become a bit bogged down and I feel like everything has grown too quickly . Did anyone else do a complete clean slate and how did you do it? Did you sell all of your breeding stock or did you keep a select few and send the rest to auction? Obviously I will keep my show herds, and any horse that I truly want to keep, but I just don't know where to begin downsizing. I especially since I like to keep everyone in the barn unless I want pasture bonus. I don't know whether I should sell my barns for IVs and get a bunch of 30 stalls so that way I can make sure to have enough room for my lines as well as their foals, or what.

Anyways, any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I am going to go through and do a massive cull on my lines. I am doing a huge cull on both my mares and studs. Going to only keep horses that will produce what I am going for. This will take a few days as I am cleaning house throughly. I know my his will go way down but I want to start over.
