Well, I bought this mare. She's gorgeous, and I'm hoping she'll get along well with my stallions. There's one problem. She hasn't been put through BA. I always test all my horses, but she's so pretty and an era 0. I bought another mare with her, and when I put her through BA, she got snipped. I'd hate for her to get snipped, but it annoys me when I look at her page and it says "Mare (untested)". Will somebody please give me some advice? Here's the mare:

Picked up a Dark Bay Appaloosa HH and the 4 creates couldn't make me happier (unless one had been a snowflake) first girl was created with 952 points! The others were decent on points but very pretty. I love seeing the new creates more than the foals sometimes. What HH love have you gotten recently?

AHayesHorses had this awesome straw bag giveaway, so I would love to get eggs from mares with any of the following genes: Ice 2, 5, 9, 10, or 14, RGB Axiom, Nacre, and Watercolor. WB is preferred, but not required.

It would be awesome if the mares had combinations of a couple or more of the genes from above, but if not, I'd still be happy to possibly buy an egg.

I just made this girl from a homozygous brown herd helper and like it says she is hom for brown (At) but she color tested bay. Is that a glitch, shouldn't she color test brown? Can someone explain this?

I decided to make a few new foundations off an EP HH I rolled the night before minuets before it expired. I was able to make 6 and when I went to look through them I noticed this girl!! Still being new to DP please correct me if I'm wrong but from looking at her who tested as plain Brown she's Hom Sty but could she have Dp? She doesn't have any dappling but I'm not sure if that's what signals dp or not.

I am in need of two tattoos designed. One for my Macchiato line, and one for my snowflake/mushroom line. I am thinking something along the lines of a spilling over bag of coffee beans for my Macchiato line, and the other maybe a frost covered or snow covered mushroom. I also will need a separate snowflake tattoo for the horses I already have that don’t carry mushroom...I guess I really need 3 tattoos! I’m not sure what the “proper payment” is for these kinds of services, but I would definitely be willing to do a combination of straws or HBs.

I've decided to become a bit stricter with my stock. I have almost everything for sale and am now looking for some new horses at the stricter standards.
What I'm looking for horses with:
- PT of 10.10 or over
- Warmblood or draft
- Evenly bred (not fussed on gen)

I really have enjoyed seeing the horses that everyone has to show off, so I thought I would manage a beauty contest for the ponies! Please read all before posting as I would like to do it differently than previous contests.

In Concept:
I know that sometimes newer players have a hard time with these contests as their herds are not quite built up yet, so I hope I have a "creative" idea on how to balance this out. Instead of the owner picking out their horses of choice a random other player will get to search through the horses and pick out 5 of their favorites.

If this idea doesn't work out then I won't do it again, or it could be fun. Not really sure, but thought I might as well try. The pot money will be in the sum of 65,000 total (my daily show bonus). Half will go to the owner of the horses, and the other half will go to the person who picked out the horses. So 32,500 each. In this way everyone, regardless of how many pretties they have managed to collect get a chance at the money. (If there is a tie I think I might go for multiple winning groups)

This post is to determine who is going to be assigned who. Please just post here saying that you're willing to participate. The person above you is the one you are going to select horses for. Since I will not be participating the first person looks through the last person's horses.

I will leave this post open until the 15th. Then we will start the beauty contest and I will discuss what the horse requirements are. Winning horses are to be determined via popular vote by the "thanks" selection when someone posts a reply.
