Trail of the Beautiful Horses Part. 2 Closed - Placings Done!

This is the part 2 post for the trail of the beautiful horses competition. Prizes are split between the owner of the horses and the "presenter". Everyone has a turn as an owner and a "presenter". The prizes are 150k for first place, 100k for second place and 50k for 3rd (remember this is split between owner and presenter). The person you are presenting for is the person that posted before you. Remember to very clearly put down the name of the person you are choosing for. Please put down their IDs and your IDs so its easy to distribute prize money.

For this competition you will pick out 5 horses.

Here are the requirements. Please note some are minimum. So must have one. Some are maximum. So do not have to have, and can only have one.

Minimum of 1 show pony (Aka altered)
Minimum of 1 stallion
Minimum of 1 mare
Minimum of 1 foal
Minimum of 1 adult

Maximum of 1 fantasy OR closed gene
Maximum of 1 bought horse (so not bred by owner. Hint: If they don't have closed genes but bought a show pony maybe...?)
Maximum of 1 Foundation (GMTed or otherwise)

Remember you are only picking out 5 horses so it is essential that at least some horses fit two of the requirements.

Entries will close the 25th. Voting will close the 28th. Prizes will be given by by the 31st. Edit: think I will close entries when everyone signed up has made their post. Then voting will continue for 3 days after that.

Winners will be chosen by popular vote via the "thanks" button. Anyone, even if you haven't entered may cast their vote. Just remember to come back later on in the competition so all entries have an even chance of getting seen.

Please put any questions on the old post. This way this can only be entries and anyone voting can easily scroll down the list. Someone will reply on there and I can decide whether to edit this post to include the information.

Edit: just wanted to say now before we had issues that if there is a tie I will be the tie breaker.

Yes you may vote on multiple groups of horses, but please don’t go crazy with this as I only have placings through 3rd place and would rather not go to tiebreaker.

There was a tie for 1st place, but I was the tiebreaker vote.

I had a few ideas of how to improve this for next time. I will update as I remember more. If you have suggestions please drop them below.

Firstly I am going to break us into 2 distinct groups. "Senior" players and "new" players. This would further help the even out the balance and help us break into teaching pairs. This would also clarify who is representing who.

So when I saw this filly I was extremely happy with her, especially when she passed BA. Only to paper yellow. I can’t keep her in my breeding program without at least being a red, but then how did she pass BA if she papered lower than both parents?

But this guy right here... Is from my very first benchmark 3G stallion, M Smokin Toby. He has two of my very first stallions from when HJ2 first opened as his grandsires - Snickerdoodle and Patrick. I found 7 straws from M Smokin Toby in my freezer, and desided to use them in June, when I had a "resting season". 6 of them gave me show ponies, but the last straw made up for it! He is a 4G *Star, and even if he isn't overly fancy, he will get alot of ladies from me :x

Yule Log Ashes mare for sale?

I just got this Yule Log Ashes mare and I will be selling her because I already have one. I don’t know how much Yule Log Ashes are worth but they were a special event only rank special. I was hoping somebody might be able to help me on the price I should sell her for considering age and everything.
( I was Also wondering what special event Yule Log Ashes were for and if it’s a reaccuring event or a one time thing like the anniversary horses)

The fire may be long gone but the ashes remain. All horses will be black with gray brindle. A little left over holiday magic makes them exceptional producers and carry the impossible white 1 and white 2 combination.

I stand to lose 224 horses but none will hurt more than this guy :'( My first extensive (and expensive) GMT project. Visanity is one of my absolute favorite horses I have ever created. I hope he sticks around for a couple more seasons.

First Major GMT Project

Decided to do a little more work on this fellow and am so very pleased with how he turned out! He's my biggest GMT project to date and I haven't, yet, decided if I'm going to try to save up to make him HOM S+, but I've been desperate (and desperately ignoring) getting more barns with all the GMT tokens.

But, visually, it wouldn't change him - true breeding HOM DP sable champagne brindle with macchiato and S+. Maybe HOM S+ if I can be disciplined.

So, a very lovely player got me this girl because she looks almost exactly like my horse Baby, who I just recently lost... Her sire's name was Chico, her dam's name was Paris. This horse was given the name Chico's Baby. I hadn't realized at the time that she was old enough that I could lose her... (Not again! Not the memory of my horse the same month as my real horse!) I'm hoping to have this girl for a while longer, but my luck has ran out fully, so I honestly have no more hope left in me. But at some point, I'll be looking for another (hopefully younger) horse that looks like this girl...

What goals did you achieve this year?

Every month, I like to set some short term goals for myself to give me little milestones to celebrate. This year, I bought my first 210-stall barn and exceeded my daily bonus goal by double!

And then I acheived this goal several months ahead of schedule: This pretty bootstrapped boy passed BA and papered as good as his sire! Thanks to Ammit's fantabulous new GMT update, he may be receiving the second copies of pearl and satin before he hits the pasture in a few months (a new goal!)

Does anyone have some solid examples of what the DP gene looks like in palominos? I'm experimentally trying to breed chocolates but I'm struggling to pick mares because I can't quite tell if they're just sooty or if they carry the DP gene.
Or maybe most of my mares have it and I just think it looks like plain variations of sooty palomino. What subtlety am I missing here? :)

Don’t kknow which discussion section to post this in so I’ll just ask it here;

What does a Hom DP Bay and Hom DP Buckskin look like? I’ve tried searching Hom Ssty and I see plenty Het DP but I don’t think I’ve seen very many (if any) hom DPs. Does anyone have any possibly Hom DP examples of either or both Buckskin and bay?
