Just can't wait for pastures tomorrow... going to be fun. I am mixing some of Chilli's black livers with my browns it will fun and I have so much W10 and W8 now to play with. Oh and my new foundations - my hom satin and my hom wrong warp guys. (My wrong warp is getting loads of girls who just don't fit my breeding goal to make some pretty show ponies as I am not sure what to do with him at the moment).
And I have lots of liver satins who I am going to mix in to my small bootstrap satin line.
Happy times :D

Re-approaching my lined breeding

Ok so I took all my lined foals so far and....put them with my bootstrap girls! I'm thinking I will take 5 girls per foundation hom special gene and 10 per het and hope I get atleast 1 or 2 that pass SBA and paper better than their parents. Thanks to my wonderful SS angelacres as well as many wonderful members of this community I have some amazing straws and ponies to utilize. I'm not sure how to deal with breeding things that may be different paper levels as some of my foundation studs are C papered and some are B papered but I want to breed even generations. Any advise?

I have so so so many horses. And tons of mares and studs to go through. I need to do a major cull and sort but I find it difficult to have enough time to sort everyone. I would so so so love a prefix or suffix that we could buy or add like the tattoos. But able to add HVF in front of all in barn and 2g at the end of them all. It would make things soooo much easier. I feel like sending mass numbers to auction just because I am overwhelmed. What does every one else do? I am playing from a phone almost exclusively

Raise your hand if you are guilty (especially in your bootstrapping herds) of not testing/snipping someone who really should be.

I think this bootstrap girl is going to be my guilty no this season. She somehow papered yellow with a PT of 11.60. Which is a lower paper then both folks but a higher PT then each of her folks. (If she'd been a stud she would have been put through SBA but since she is a mare she gets a wee bit of a free pass for now)

Decisions Made - I hope

For quiet some time, since I started the game; I’ve been battling with myself deciding what I actually wanted to accomplish in this game.
After all my goals were failing BA, I decided I would breed strictly even (by gen and paper). Which really lowered my snipping rate, obviously. Now, I’ve found myself stuck and not knowing what to breed for gene wise and I started to get bored.
Eventually I ran across a horse I fell in love with, a liver snf kp app. I decided that was going to be my breeding goal! Welp, that was blown out of the water and completely successful after my first pairing, go figure.

I’ve decided I’ll only keep 2 intact line and my show string. One of the lines being fully focused around my mare, Silver Bell.

My other line will be bootstrapped and bred solely for looks and showing. This will be my War Pony line. I decided to go this route when I bred my stallion who just absolutely reminded me of a horse the indians would ride.

A Breeding Goal Achieved

So this little filly may not look like anything super special at first glance haha BUT she is a wonderful breeding goal that I've been trying to achieve for a long time now. Even better she is the result of straws provided to me by my lovely SS @RutledgeRanch (thank you to @Lallyhop for acting as the elf on that one too haha!). Bloodlines wise she is descended on both sides from SA Millionaire, my favourite ever stallion, her sire is one of Millionaire's loveliest sons that @HTRanch bred and I always thought was stunning so I'm thrilled to have a daughter of his.

This little girl, despite her very white appearance, is blue papered, evenly bred, Hom pearl, no white factor AND best of all she is HOM W10 one of only 8 in game. She is also the only blue papered Hom W10 mare in game and I think the only draft mare too haha. I have always wanted a Hom W10 and was determined I could make it happen one day (despite this being quite a risky breeding goal I know haha) but it finally happened! She is also 17hh and as I also breed for height that was an added bonus. I hope everyone else manages to achieve a wonderful breeding goal this year too!
