For about the last month, the classes I enter one of my horses in won't run. I think she was a level 6L when it first happened. I thought maybe it was because she was a higher level and there are fewer horses that high to fill the slots. I waited over a week and no new horses were entered so I decide to scratch her and re-enter to see what happened. However, the class disappeared and was replaced by a new class. I entered her in the new class but the same thing happened. This has been happening for about a month now and she's leveled up to 6N. One of my other horses (level 6W) is having the same problem this week.

This is the first horse:
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=198831

Wasn't sure if this counts as a bug or not.

Lately, I've noticed a few members saying that they don't bother with showing any more and make their HJ2 ends meet by breeding for profit. I know on HJ1 there are many players who make ends meet purely through showing, but I am finding it very difficult to do here. I have thought about this a little bit, and I think it is harder here because horses age twice as fast, but train at the same rate (if you use autotrainer) and show at the same rate. So a HJ2 horse with identical stats to a HJ1 horse will only reach half its potential training points (and likely never reach the highest levels of competition) and will only show in half the number of classes over its lifetime as its HJ1 analogue. This seems like it would make "making a living" through showing on HJ2 more difficult.

Let me be clear that I'm not trying to say that breeding for profit babies shouldn't be a viable way to make ends meet in game, but I do think showing should be just as viable. Personally, I really want to be able to make ends meet through showing alone, and so far it hasn't been working out for me.

Part of this issue may be addressed, but in the meantime this is the reality of the game so we might as well figure out how to make it work.

I am curious to hear what the community thinks about this, so let's discuss.

As far as I know, neither of his parents look to be carriers, but then I wasn't breeding them for DP, just to see what I would get.
