For me, my favourite foundation stud (Jimi Pesto) gave me Jimi Pesto Jr



He's CT'd as one of my best studs, and I'm really exited to continue with his dun line. Now, I had him as a pasture stud this month thinking "this month is the month I get A grade Jimi Pesto III." But, alas, he gave me fillies. My favourite looking fillies, and the best foal of the crop graded against another A colt, but FILLIES! I want my colt! February better be your month, Junior *shakes fist* Maybe I shouldn't be so prejudice.

I really only have one line going in my barn right now, and I have had inklings lately of wanting to do a Dun line with some sort of pattern. Like dun with minimal blanket Appy (blanket examples: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=266140, http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=323806) or Dun with sabino maybe?

So then I thought maybe I should just combine my Dun line with the Nexus on top and throw in the Appy or Sabino if/when I can. Or I could do just a dark colored line, so blacks, liver chestnuts, browns, sooty grullos and bays with the nexus on top. I think Nexus shows up well on the dark colored horses.

Thoughts? Opinons? What do you like? The players that have probably have helped me the most are Sandycreek and darkstar. The reason they helped me both is sandy has sold me alot of her mares and some stallions and once a while back dark star helped me out by giving me a straw or two from one of her stallions as i had bought a very uneven stallion taht day. Alot of you have helped me through this game, understanding so much. Abbey road has also helped me, she is so generous and has lovely stock that i grab a hold of if i am given the chance.
