How do you show horses?

Two why do I have to have PayPal to purchase premium account upgrade? Only 7.95 and nothing else is set that way

Sorry, I think I must share it here :)
I know that now it's the beginning of HAJ year, but my mare called Song Of The Freedom is 2nd on the Points Eearned by Foundations LB of the Black Breeders Club (ex aequo with several mares with the same amount of points) and 2nd in the Brindle Breeders Club (0.5 pt after the first horse). I know that those scores will change, but I have a chance of earning a trophy, 'cause this mare is always great! Last HAJ year she was around 15th place in Brindle Breeders Club :)

I have seen a horse that had "Tail with Tapered End" in their tack. What's that? How does it look and why it isn't currently available in tack shop?

... chances are good that its owner just set it up for breeding so that they could breed to it themselves, since that's the way you have to hand breed. You might want to ask whether they meant to put the horse up before you breed to it.

I was doing some last-minute breeding tonight and as I set a mare up for 1 hb so I could breed, someone stealthed in and bred her (a very well bred 3rd gen from an exceptional "B" line) to a foundation stallion. That kinda bothers me because it's going to mess up her papering and whatnot.

Please don't do that.

The horses in the head down position, are those older horses? I was doing a search to see what a possible breeding out come would look like and most if not all the horses I see are in a head down position.

I've been working on getting a line together to create a line I think will really be cool looking when I'm done. I'm at the point now that I have enough foundations together that I normally set up a pasture, name the line, and create a tattoo but I have hit a road block. I have nothing. I need to get the wheels turning. How do you all come up with names for your lines?

I'm so excited about this boy... my first *Star out of NeoGenesis's line, and the result of carefully pulling together strands from many different old lines and new so that he has DP (I think), satin, sooty+, pearl, homozygous tobiano (which means Kit without having to worry about sabino whiting horses out or breeding whites to each other), and if I am very lucky, KP. To me, this is what this game is all about. Pretty respectable PT for 5th gen, too.

Plus, I just love minimal tobiano with high socks and a white tail. <3

Since I love love love living Down Under, I am giving away 1 straw or free breeding from any stallion on this list that isn't marked as In House Only to everyone who posts a fact, meme, picture or article about Australia. This is open until game rollover tomorrow (when the 26th becomes the 27th).

Please post your user ID, whether you want a straw or a breeding and the name of the stallion you choose! I have included 2 year old stallions on the list so obviously you won't get those til next season. Same if you ask for a breeding to one of my foundations that has 50 foals from this season.

Okay, so I've read that KP has to have 2 kit genes to show up.
I am GMTing a stallion right now and had GMTed him homozygous sb1.
And then added KP.
I don't see any KP marking so I'm thinking "2 kit genes" means 2 different kit genes not one kit gene twice.
Correct? lol

Pricing stallions for public breeding

I was just curious as to how most people decide to price their stallions when selling straws or doing public breeding?

For me I have a base price depending on generation, and then depending on how many extra shiny genes they have such as silver, satin, or patterns I add a certain amount per allele that they have.

I am mainly trying to decide if I am pricing too low or too high.

Papering- Why not spayed mare papering?

So have noticed for a while but didn't get as curious till now. Why isn't there spayed mare papering? I can see why it wouldn't matter as much bc they are not breeding bit there is a gelding papering. So shouldn't there be a spayed mare papering?

What drew you to Hunt and Jump in the first place?

I'm just curious what drew everyone to this game. For me, my husband and I are already gamers. We play just about everything. With 4 kids it's hard to find a sitter so it's our together time just me and him and whatever game we choose to play, it's our date night out after the kids have gone to bed. I've played a few online horse genetic games because genetics is an interest of mine. My major is in Biology and being a stay at home, homeschooling parent I need a stimulating outlet just for myself otherwise I would go crazy lol. The other games I felt like I was grinding caring for horses with very little reward in return and the group playing wasn't very inviting unless you had something to offer and the competition was more then a little rough. I've stayed here because I find the group of people friendly, willing to help and informative. Any in game grinding is so worth it because you see your results every month come breeding time. No useless grinding of feeding, watering, and brushing everyone that doesn't actually move you forward in your goal. The best part, you get to choose what your foals will actually look like. So many games say they are a genetic breeding game but this is the only one I have found so far that lives up to that. There is very little random computer generating colors. The bulk is the genes your horses have that you choose to breed together. SO in conclusion I came for the genetics, I stayed because of the wonderful people who play it as well :) By the way Thank you Ammit and all your helpers for creating a great game. You guys are doing an awesome job.

Satin tattoo for sale

I was making a tattoo for someone and made this one and didn't have the heart to just dump it. It took a lot of time. It's a Chinese symbol for Satin. It looks great on light or dark colors. I would like to get 12000 hb's for it. That's cost plus 2000. If someone wants it let me know as I have no Satin carriers at this time so it's really of no use to me. I just really like it :) It's obviously the tattoo on her shoulder.

Your upgrade will be removed and you will not be refunded if you abuse this system. Do not for any reason paper stallions for other members
This makes me think I cant paper stallions I buy. There are a couple of my breeding stallions I would like to papaer but i dont want kicked out of the game. Do they work the same way for geldings and mares?

I FINALLY broke the 13 PT barrier (it has taken me many seasons and ruthless culling). Better yet, it's on an intact mare who is a gorgeous dark brown sooty+ satin carrier with minimal white expressions of her kit genes and the most adorable little whisp of homozygous KP on her neck. I haven't been this excited about a pixel pony in ages :D :D :D
