Would you be collecting eggs at this point? I don't even know if these mares are stellar and worth keeping the eggs for, though. Or would you be breeding them to outside stallions to at least "test" them and see if I should be collecting eggs? I want my own lines to be completely in-house, but for testing purposes...?

Of course, suddenly I seem to have about 40 intact gen 4 stallions (my herd has really taken a leap forward in quality there with 3 *stars and a handful of As that compare AGA my gen 5 *stwr benchmark) so there is some more work to be done there too, but I'm feeling very stoked that I will be able to catch up this season, at least breed my old outgoing boys to pastures and still have time to sort and cull those foals before Feb so in Feb I can do a full on breed again! Yay!
