I may lose all of these guys. Tribal Thunder has been my best show horse.

I have noticed that most of his foals arent pting like I want. I am trying to get his line to be both good showers and breeders. Even though i have been on here now 6 months I feel like his line isnt improving much. Cpuld someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I'm pretty excited! I was registering horses and found my BBTS RS boy was 3rd in brindle top producing stallions. It's the first time I've had a horse on the boards I think :)

this guy is so pretty I think he is the third coolest Diamond Age out there and ive looked threw them all I'm just in such love with his brindle coat and colors I had to share. there are some really amazing artwork on this game I'm impressed. thank you team I have to hand it to you.

I love this boy so much :( But he only tested AGA his sire so i'm really debating whether or not i'm gonna snip him after all. In the end I think I will since I got an A papered colt from the same sire. Too bad I can't afford a breeding boost :( I would gladly yum all his foals. But alas, I am a broke college student :'(

Selling and breeding - member grade 5?

When you go to buy or breed a horse that's an account that you are associated with(or own), and it tells you that you need need to be a level 5/member grade 5 or higher, does that mean if you own two accounts with premium upgrade you could breed the horses from the two accounts together? Or switch/trade the horses between accounts?

Also, what is the member grade? Aside from when they have a paid upgraded account, what makes the member grade go up?

Needing some refreshers on how everyone culls by PT. I have this new mare that PTed and she tested 9.9 as a 2g. I don't have her to focus on showing but is she worth keeping? Can someome tell me how they do it for all gens?

If anyone on this server is getting close to the 10 million hb limit and needs to spend down, you might consider purchasing and donating a barn for the Available To Adopt stable! I (Confluence) don't have a bunch of high pointed horses to give away, but since I am an adult with a good job and no kids, (so I have a bit of expendable income!) I bought one barn, so we're good for right now, but keep us in mind!

(The storage space to warehouse horses is there, but if we want them to continue to show and earn points they need to be in 'satellite' barns to auto show. )

Again, not an urgent need at all. Just putting a bug in your ear!

How do you all decide which mare goes with what studs. I am going to try to use 4 of my 11 studs this season. I am wanting to split my 60 foundation mares into two 30 groups. I have one RS stud and 1 regular create picked for my studs.

How much show bonus do you lose when a good show pony dies? I am at risk of losing 2 or 3 this season. And quite a few next month. My show bonus is just a little over 6800 daily.

Bidding etiquette on straws and eggs..? (maybe small rant)

When bidding on straws and eggs are there any rules set in place for minimum to raise the bid or "courtesy" for bidding...?

I was bidding on some straws and there is one person who keeps bidding up, but by ONLY ONE dollar each time. (somebody will out bid them by $1000 dollars, and then they come back and bid ONE dollar more)

I personally think that it is really annoying, but also kind of rude.. (but hey, what are ya gonna do? :-?? )
I mean, I could understand if Hunt and Jump was set up where lots of things, like the public auction for example, was set up where you could win by bidding a single dollar more than the top bidder, but that's not how this game is, there is a $100 bid up. That single dollar bid up is not how real auctions work either.. (well, with the exception of horses from the kill pen, but even then it's extremely uncommon; but that is off topic)

And I feel like it is rude to the person selling their stuff.. We should be compensating the person for sharing this line with us.
And I feel that it is definitely going to give someone a small twinge of frustration when you and everyone else is bidding $1000 and then y'all go and lose to someone who bid $1 more than you.

I will add you to the chat room and pick up any horses you want to donate.

I will leave any tattoos on your horse, except for tattoos on the withers. I will put an Available To Adopt ribbon tattoo on the withers, to make searching easier. Once the horse is adopted I will put an Adopted tattoo (ribbon with a heart) on the horse and put it up for sale for 1hb, in the AtA chat room. It would REALLY help if you would put 'AtA' in front of the horses name.

If you are a new player and want to adopt a horse, the How To is here: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/18046/available-to-adopt#Item_2. If you run into problems, or cant figure it out, just ask on the forum and someone will usually be glad to help you!

Each AtA horse will have links on their main page, that will take you to the Frequently Asked Questions/Users Guide section, and some other helpful posts. You will need to copy those links and past them into your menu bar, to get to the correct pages.

New Member-Now Need Help...

I thought I had a good thing going, well...that good thing left me broke. LOL

I need someone to assist me sorting some horses to sell or get rid of. I have 20/20 and 2 foals in pasture and, well...that doesn't work.

I THINK I have figured out a way to cull looking at show results and points but someone that has been here longer, I would really like to cut back to a base. Any personal pointers would be great. Showing all I can, training all I can, bred a few. Trying things out to find a balance.
