2N Poseidon

So after I did my jumps of joy, I realized I haven't the foggiest clue as to where to go from here! I just spent all this time and money testing over half my stock to my previous benchmark. Do I retest them all to my new guy? I decided to start with just testing all the colts (even those I'd done previously) from the same sire to see what happens. 4 horses later I run out of money, oops. But of those 4, they were all worse.

So I guess now I'm wondering what to do. I'm going to continue to try and work my way back through everyone and see what happens, but what if they are all worse? This guy is still a foal so do I continue to use a subpar stallion till an AGA comes along? I'm beyond happy to now have a better bench to narrow my intact ratio down, but also sad that I have to go back through everyone.

I also found a new 3g benchmark too! But that one was easier to handle since I only have a handful of them.

Anyone else been having benchmark joys and woes? I remember when the Ice genes were for sale, and someone else asked if they could gift a horse with the exclusive/no sharing genes, and I remember that the answer was yes. But if and when you do that, do you have to delete all the horses you own with that gene since you would no longer be the owner of the foundation or can you keep what you have (just like if the horse passed away and you still had offspring)? Or does it matter if you are the owner of both premium accounts?
I guess that the super short version of the question is, is it designated per account, or per individual human player? @Ammit

Also, is there a list anywhere of the Ice like when they were for sale with their "explanation"? I remember (I think) Ice 1, 2, 5, and 8 were something like "initially there weren't sharing rules, but please don't stand them publicly" or something to that wording, and the rest were strictly no sharing?

This 3rd Gen A papered Chocolate Palomino Splash appaloosa that might carry snowflake. He is AGA his sire and inconsistent but I have plenty of time to save up to buy a boost token and to save up hbs for a GMT to make him consistent.

This 2nd Gen Ice 13 colt who also has Brindle! :D I'm also hoping to save up for a boost token for this guy since he papered B and AGA his sire and I have an A papered son from the same sire already. But if I can't save up for a token he might get the snip.

Rules:
1) Each player has one chance to enter. If you wish to change your guesses please edit your original post, as only the first attempted entry by any player will be considered.
2) Players may repeat guesses made by other players if desired.
3) Tie breakers will be determined by flipping a coin or random draw.
4) Only one guess is allowed per cross.
5) You do not have to submit a guess for all crosses.
6) 2 points will be earned for a correct part of your guess, 1 point will be deducted for an incorrect part of your guess. 4 bonus points will be awarded for 100% correct guesses.

The Game:
I have 8 planned breeding crosses. I am planning to breed them on March 8th, the contest will close once those breedings occur.
Your goal is to guess the color of the foal that will result from each cross. For example you might guess Bay Pearl Appaloosa for a cross and if the foal turned out to be a Bay Appaloosa 3 points would be awarded (1 point deduction for the incorrect pearl guess). If you guessed Bay and the foal turned out to be a Bay Splash Tobiano 2 points would be awarded. (Incorrect penalties are not assessed for guesses you don't make, such as the splash and tobiano in this case.)
The players with the most points will win. I will PM winners and ask them to choose a stallion as their prize, the 1st place winner will get first choice, 2nd place winner will get second choice etc.

I'm currently trying to test all of my horses, and I noticed I had one Dark Chocolate mare paper as red, and another paper yellow. The red papered girl I believe was already tested prior to these new changes, and the yellow was not (tested yesterday). I think the yellow is correct since they are not exceptionals, just regulars. I'm just wondering how many of my other horses have wrong paper levels :(. Would this affect the new breeding advice too? Since it now tests against both sires and dams, instead of just one.

As I'm only new I haven't set my sights on anything in particular.. So pretty much I am just breeding for flashiness..
I have a couple perfect foundation stallion.. And I will also use public stallions to add some colour/different lines..

Most of my foundation mares are perfect foundations also.. Although I do have the few that I had that throw good foals that I had before I decided to only breed from perfect foundations..

I'm 2nd gen fillies will only be starting to hit breeding age from next season but I have a couple of my own 2nd gen boys that I will use before I venture to going for outside stallions.. I seem to have lots of boys but not many girls and is so hard to decide which boys to keep entire! Perhaps ill see what they throw!

All my horses must pass strict breeding advice.. If I particularly like ones colour I may just do regular breeding advice but I'm yet to do so on any I've bred.. As much as I want colour I also want quality!

I like my 2nd gen boys to be b paper and girls red otherwise they get spayed (apart from one I bought) ..

Hopefully by being strict now by the time I get to higher generations ill have some great quality horses!
