Now, for the answers and a little fun fact to go with each:

1. Suffolk Punch - The traditional spelling, still used by the Suffolk Horse Society to describe their colour, is "chesnut" (with no "t" in the middle of the word).

2. Friesian (Controversial Draft to some people) - Friesians were originally bred as a Heavy Draft Horse but the “Modern Friesian” is bred to be finer-boned, taller and more agile.
Friesian and Friesian-mixed horses excel in dressage competitions due the breed's strong intellect (and show-form looks), powerful strength and body control.

3. Clydesdale – The Budweiser Clydesdales made their first ever appearance on April 7th, 1933.

4. Percheron - Percheron ancestry is largely unknown, but experts attribute much of its physical characteristics to the climate and terrain of the Perche province.

5. Shire (My Absolute Favourite) -Although the Shire is the most popular heavy horse in England, there are still less than 3000 in the world and only about 70 in Australia.
The largest horse in recorded history was a Shire named Mammoth, who was born in 1848. He stood 21.2 hands (86 inches, 218 cm) high.

6. American Cream Draft -The American Cream is the only breed of draft horse developed in the United States that is still in existence today.
The Equus Survival Trust considers the population to be "critical", meaning that there are between 100 and 300 active adult breeding mares in existence today.
The foundation mare of the American Cream Draft breed was "Old Granny,” a mare that was purchased in 1911 at a horse auction in Iowa.

7. Fjord- All Fjord horses are Dun in colour, with five variations in shade recognised in the breed standard. It is one of the world's oldest breeds.

8. Belgian/ Brabant- Standing at 20 hands 2¾ inches or 210.2 cm, Big Jake, an 11-year-old Belgian gelding, is officially the world's tallest horse. His owner, Jerry Gilbert, says Big Jake weighed 240lbs when he was born and now tips the scales at a mighty 2600lbs.

Brooklyn "Brookie" Supreme, was designated the tile for the world’s largest horse (Not Tallest) He stood 19.2 hands (198 cm (6 ft 6 in)) tall and weighed 3,200 lb (1,451 kg) with a girth of 10 ft 2 in (3.10 m). His horseshoes required 30 in (76 cm) of iron.

*A side note in regards to No5. –I do adore the Gypsy Vanner (Which was a popular answer)
Before 1996, it was not officially considered to be a breed. The Draft Cross Breeders and Owners Association recognizes 34 breeds as draft horses and the Gypsy doesn’t make the list.

The classic list of draft horse breeds was five: Belgian, Clydesdale, Percheron, Shire, and Suffolk.

Around what age does training level off for a horse? Also is it different for intact and altered horses? I realize gelding/spaying helps horses become better show horses but I wasn't sure if it was more of a bonus or if they just don't level off as soon for training.

This assumes that everything goes completely perfect with proper male female ratios and no culling and rebreeding needed. Assuming those variables, I'd double the number I got.
