Horses start to age out at rollover from 17 years. Please do not spend good money on these horses! They will not make back their purchase price in show bonus before the end of the month!

Part of this process is happening to facilitate a mass transfer to the Available to Adopt program. This program will soon have a lot of high point show ponies, so please be patient a little while longer!

(There will also be a lot of young show ponies with less than 500 points in the auctions. I strongly urge you to pick the ones with 400+ points who are under 10 years old up. I have seen different things the times I've reached on this topic in the forum but I was hoping someone could provide me a more solid understanding of how inbreeding effects our pixel ponies. I realize it is not really nice to look at when viewing their lines, but since it does not have the health repercussions, etc. that there would be in real life, is it actually bad for them?

I would be talking about horses that are within the same generation that are half siblings, not uneven lines.

Are horses that are inbred likely to be on par with their non-inbred peers?

Some of SandyCreeks horses have an invisible tattoo.

To see if you have one go to Community>Search Horses> enter your stable ID# as the owner, and enter Available To Adopt in the tattoo box.

You can take the tattoos off by going to the Tack tab, then scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the page where it says Edit Tattoos On This Horse, then click the Remove This Tattoo button next to the ribbon or the slot that says Availabe to Adopt.

OR

You could sell the horses to me in the AtA chat room for 1hb, I will remove the tattoos and put them back up for sale for you for 1hb.

It's not a major issue, but some new people may contact you, instead of me to try and adopt your horse, because it will come up in a search!
