Ok, so went through my foals. Been culling really hard because I have too many mares as is. Have been upping my requirements (Such as, I really need to get 2g population under control, so I won't keep them unless they are papered blue or something) My requirements are doing great, and I have already culled to about 10% my original crop, but there are a few that don't meet these requirements that I am just having a hard time with snipping. Need second opinions on wether their quality really demands snipping or not to be a responsible breeder. I think I already know the answer on some of them, just need to hear someone say it.

Haven't gone through all my babies yet but I got another intact brindle filly this year Red papered 10PT and consistent ugh so happy! Different sire from my last one but this is 2 seasons in a row I've gotten intact brindle fillies

I bought a couple more pastures last month and the mares aren't to 30 days yet but all my ones in the primary are. Is there a way to only breed that one pasture instead of all. I wanted to do the one later today and the others later in the month to get more bonus. Thanks!

So after a bit of sadness with papering most mares/foals then having to spay them... I bred my *star papered stallion to my blue papered mare..the outcome was this beautiful *gold papered filly :D now I just need to try and get a 5G *Gold :P

He is really proving himself this season in my pasture. I bred him to my mostly red papered girls and yes I knew some won't pass BA. He is being successful and this makes up for most of my babies being snipped in barn. I can't wait to paper the babies.

What Should I Breed Her To?

I've seen some discussion on equal breeding and breeding horses with same papers for quality. I have a mare, blue in the 6th generation that I would like to breed soon this season or early next season. Am I best to breed her to star 6g studs or A? One of her passed foals was intact with a star and papered star if that matters.

How do you decide to breed?

I am wanting to know how do you decide which horses to breed together? I am getting pretty decent matches that I like but I am not sure how great of quality the foals are. Normally all I do is change out studs and breed to whoever is of the same gen.

How do you get to knowing your horses are of quality?

I think I am just going to put everyone up to breed. I am having no luck this season. I think I have had 2 intact foals so far everything else has been altered. I will be selling all my altered foals except for two that I used an outside stud on.

Always next season I guess.

So it is mainly out of curiosity that I am asking this, mostly because my breeding lines were not anything special and I left the game way back in 2011/2012 before HJ2 got going. But I am curious to know if anyone has horses that go back to LST Performance. I know the odds are not very high and I know that there is probably no way to pull them over to this server. But I am curious as I did a big giveaway/contest for most of my stock at the time and was wondering if they went anywhere.

It's not a big deal to find answers, but if some of the older members are in need of a fun, time consuming search, I'm presenting an opportunity! haha
