I don't completely understand how to use a GMT token to change color genetics? I go to the page and when I try to change is just says "Your horse has the __ allele for this __ gene.
No edits are available for this gene"... Is a GMT token ONLY for taking away/making something recessive?

How do you sell straws? How do you buy straws? Is there somewhere that I am not seeing?

I was wondering if a poor shower might make a better breeder? She is consistent but is coming in dead last in her shows except one. She is identical to her sire Dancer. His grand dam is a freaky Friday greater and her son (this Colts sire) is dpDP.
If the first allele is from the sire and the 2nd from the mother then does that mean he can't have DP because his dad got it from his mum and so it can't pass to the colt...feel like a dog chasing guy tail on this

Next is: if every liver carries DP then how much does it have? I can't remember which player gave this information to me but I'd like more explanation please. Is a liver DPDP or just DPdp?

What's the best way to tell if a horse is DP if it is also homozygous for sooty?

I read in some of the topics something about cross gen breeding. I'm assuming that means breeding two horses from different generations. It seems to be frowned on. Why? Does it somehow harm the foals?

Breeding seasons start at the beginning of the month. Do they have to be bred on that day or can they be bred later in the month and if so how long before they are born? How does the amount of time between their birth and the end of the month affect their performances as show horses or breeders?

Do horses that are better for breeding also produce better show horses or should I be looking to breed horses with better show records to get better show horses?

Nobody seems to have mentioned anything about inbreeding. In the real world it would be detrimental but also in the real world line breeding where the sire of the sire is the grandsire of the dam is considered acceptable. Is there a penalty for these and what is it?

Does spaying a mare do anything for her performance or is it only so the new buyer can't use the genes?

Should you always breed light body horses to light body horses? What happens if you mix body types or is it even possible? Is it frowned upon?

Go to the Create A Horse page

DO NOT make any changes to the Create A Horse selections, but click the button.

The game will give you the option to activate a random Daily Herd Helper (DHH, or HH for Herd Helper). This is usually a specific color for the horse you create, but could also be a Top Notch Producer, Perfect Foundation, or Great Show Horses. The name of the Herd Helper will include a Rank between 1-5, or 'Rank: Special' (aka RS). This lets you know how common or how rare that particular Herd Helper is. Lower rank HHs have lots of opportunities to create horses, higher ranks may have only one or two. Herd Helpers give you the chance to lock in that color/ability for the next 24 hours. Then pick the gender, height, size and age of your new horse and click “Create Herd Helper Foal”.

If you don't like the HH you got for the day you can purchase a new one by clicking Select A New Herd Helper. This option costs 10,000 bucks a shot, so use it wisely! If you share your HH, either on the forum or on the Facebook page, and someone chooses to use it as well, you can earn additional slots for yourself.

To paste a HH to the forum, simply click the button below it that says "Paste to Forum", or you can copy the whole thing starting with the Rank and description, down to the link, and paste it on a new forum discussion. Most people also copy and drag the Rank and description to the subject line of their forum post.
