How does showing exactly work? Like with the levels and stuff? I've noticed a few of my horses are at World level for In-hand while others have jumped up to Green U/S and some have stayed stuck at the lower levels of in-hand. They've all only been shown twice, so I'm assuming its something to do with points? Also, I have two mares who seem to like placing last, even though they are consistent and passed mare advice lol Is this implying they would be better brood mares than show horses? Another filly that I bred from an outside stud was a bit strange with testing- she passed mare advice, but then the showing aptitude test said she would be better of spayed and shown. Which do you listen to?
Lastly, can you show horses that are currently in the pasture? I've thrown a couple of the three year old mares in there as they apparently get a breeding bonus? I've got two stallions that passed all the free testing so was going to breed some mares to each, but if they can't be shown that is not really ideal as I don't have all that many horses at this point and show profits seem to be minimal lol And wha is the best way to improve your stock if you don't have access to the performance testing and papering? Just listen to the gelding/mare advice and hope for the best?

I have heard that with lined horses all GM are 1 GMT. Would that work with GP to ensure he has it? Also since he might have gotten it from his mother, his father doesn't have it, but there is no way of knowing if he does, how does that work? Is this something that can be done?
