(if they have passed all their other tests)

I just started a new group, all the mares are "rank: perfect foundations" 9.9 PT or rank specials with 9.9-10.4PT, and I just bred them all to a Rank Special B papered 10.4 stallion. The resulting foals have a PT 9.4 through 10.9, should I keep the G2 foals, or cull out the lower PT scored ones?

ETA:
All the colts Paper: B
Should I keep the fillies for at least one breeding to see how they do?

I'm only a newbie and haven't yet gotten the money up to buy an upgrade and do PT testing, so I have no idea where my horses are. I have an inconsistent horse and am wondering what to do with it. I'm of a mind to neuter and keep for showing, but since I am a beginner I was wondering if it will even be worth it. I am a little bit confused as to how this factor influences the horses training, showing and breeding and was hoping for come clarification and examples.

2. I was wondering about the colours on the stars of the horses somatic tattoos. Do they indicate rank? If so, what colours indicate what rank?

Thanks in advance ^^

So I want to start striving for better quality horses. I have a basic understanding of how to achieve this. I know it'll require cutting a lot of horses, mares and stallions both, from my breeding program. I still haven't decided what to do with them though. I don't feel right about allowing them to stay intact and be used for public breeding most likely to newer players since I try to keep my fees cheap.
The mares I will mark and use for embryo/surrogate mares. A lot of the mares are my favorite and will be hard to cull but neccassy.

I do need a few tips on deciding if a mare should be kept with the quality program. Most of them are between 6 and 10 so they have foals i can look at and judge. Most (foals) aren't PTed or papered.
A stallion who has "bad" sons usually has bad daughters too, right?

Some questions on stallions.
An even bred third generation stallion he should be A papered in order to continue breeding?

I have lots of pretty 3rd Gen boys but they are B. Usually the B papered ones have uneven mothers. I'll be removing the dams

Should I keep B papered 3rds for public or just snip them?

I don't use SMA since I'm not upgraded enough but I do use all other free testing. I usually uncheck the auto geld/spay on SAT, should I leave it on now?
Any other tips would be great too

I have a newbie question on the impact of the parents PT on future generations. I am new and tried lots of breeding before this last period's cutoff. Before I PT'd everything, I bred a foundation mare that passed SAT, SMA, and Consistency to a foundation stallion (GoodChina) papered B that also passed everything and had a PT of 10.4 (I had tested him). The resulting filly passed everything and ended up with a PT of 10.6 when I tested. I have since gone back and PT tested everything. The foundation mare had a PT of 2. Now Confluence Farm stated in one of their posts "Showing ability and breeding ability are not related." and thus PT of the parents should be irrelevant, but that feels wrong in my gut.

Will the original mares PT impact the PT of the filly's future foals, or is every generation its own baseline and except for colour genes? Is there something that I should watch for in future generations? Here is the resulting filly.
