So I'm wondering, what's your strategy? Each time you create a horse it's $2500, and then all the testing costs add up too. What tests do you run on newly created horses? How do you make the decision (and how long do you wait to decide) to keep them, breed them, spay/geld them, show them, auction them off, or sell them back to the game?

If they fail Gelding/(Strict) Mare Advice and have a PT score below 9.9, is it worth keeping them for showing or might I just as well get rid of them?

Which is the preferable way to get rid of horses that don't stack up - auction them off at creation cost or sell them back to the game?

I know lots of you older player have specific color lines and would like advice on how to start from scratch. Right now my main concern is quality. I am going to start with basic based colors the breed is known for and work up.

I am going to try to get as many black and grey foundations as I can. Hopefully I can get RS (blackest night, ashes, shades of pale) and as many top producers as well. After I have a horses that produce good quality I'll try to bring in a few extra color (blue roan and black Bay probably)

Recently I refreshed the image of one of my mares and the Snow Deep has disappeared from her image, but it's still showing in her tack. Even rerolling doesn't help.
