Can horses have genes that are not shown with the genetic testing? I just did a pasture breeding and produced this colt:

Love his look, but if I'm not mistaken, he's showing some snowflake. However, his mother appears to be a straight flaxen chestnut. I assume, for this to be possible, she must be carrying the ECA3P+ gene, correct? Whilst browsing the forums I have come across several people saying that they Gelded/spayed their horse both after taking some straws first or after showing and then retiring to a barn to keep their points.

Why do this? Does it mean the horse lives longer? Do they show better?

Since the horses are automatically registered into their respective Era Club at birth, is there any way to re-reigster them once a previous owner has removed them? I have the option to remove a few other Era 0 horses I own, but not to register her.

Germs is 18, so I likely won't have her much longer, but I would like to know for future horses. Thank you for reading.

I'm curious to see the effect.

I understand it changes the appearance of the horse at random, but how drastically?

It is regulated? Does the coat/mane etc stay the same shade or will that change? Will it bring different characteristics to the forefront?
