I had a new player pick up several poor showers I had placed in the auction recently, she unfortunately paid far more than these horses will ever likely earn her. I am working to buy them back now but that it not something you should expect. If you want to pick up show horses, buy nice foals and bring them up yourself, or better, look at the availiable to adopt horses. Looking on the forum I've seen two equations:
1) Cheers has said that 3/4 of the point total is the show bonus. Point Tot. x .75 = Show Bonus

2) Someone took what Cheers said and added divide by 7 at the end of it. Can't remember who unfortunately. (Point total x .75)/7 = Show Bonus

Let's use this sorry sally as an example. One of my poorer performing show horses.

Her total points earned is 182. 182 x .75 = 136.5 hbs being added to my show bonus. Considering she is one of my lowest horses, that's pretty lucrative. She has roughly 33 weeks left in her which gives me a potential of 4504.5 hbs.

However...

If divide that amount by 7 I get 19.5 hbs being added to my show bonus. Which gives me 643.5 hbs in 33 weeks. Not quite as profitable but it seems more accurate.

I know that PFs always have a PT score of 9.9, but is it safe to assume that if a create from any other HH has a PT score of 9.9 it's also a PF? I'm not trying to just mill out as many foals as possible, but I'm in need of earning some money in game. The guide explicitly states that it's better to earn money by showing than selling, but from what I've seen it takes many months to care for a horse before it's making any considerable amount in return and I don't want to sit on my account for that amount of time, doing nothing. I just need to know where to aim in regards to breeding horses that I can gain a bit of money for. Selling gains a minimum of 2500hb I think, unless you sell back to game for 1000?

When I enter a barn into the shows. The flag goes away and they are showing. Then when I come back to that barn a few mins later.. I have horses that will be listed on the right side as currently showing but then the flag on the left will show up for that same horse at the same time for you to enter them in a show. You can enter them in another show but you will loose everything for the first show. It will be listed on their page as a blank. You don't get any points for showing and you lose your second entry for the week.

I've tried closing out my browser and coming back. Still says the same.]]>
