Yesterday my primary barn was over 100 stalls today it's only 79. 1 stall open and can't create another horse.

The yellow bell at the top right is lit as if there is an active chat. When I click on the bell, there is nothing new/recent in any of the chatrooms. I have tried going to to each chatroom, logging out, and back in; yet it is still lit.

Outdated papering on older mares

I just got to the point where I can buy one copy of Macchiato, and I just want to make sure I get it right because I do not want to lose my ten gmts lol! I had the GMT page up and had it all ready to go with the horse I want, so do I hit the first sp button or the second one? I haven't done any GMTing before.

I just recently got the ability to paper and I remember there being a post about what different players look for in each generation but I can not find it to save my life.

So I'll ask the question again. What's your standing on the PT and Papering scores for each generation?

How bad is it to look at 4g or 6g boys?

I have 5g girls in pasture but no 5g boy will work this season. So would you look at your 4g boys A papered or your 6g boys A papered? I have boys in both generations that will work for these girls this season. How bad is it to breed uneven like that?

How to merge two barns

i've got to accounts, due to the fact at first i forgot this accounts password so started a new one, but now that i reset this password and i've got this account back id like to merge the other account with this one, but don't want to spend money on merging them. is there any possible way of doing this? if so how? since i've also got lots of Hbs on that account id like to transfer it all over, so i can carry on the game on one account and dont have to keep switching accounts, because id like to keep it to just this barn and not two, thatnks for your help,

So I had 2 exceptional producers in my pasture and I bred them together and my resulting colt got gelded by the breeding advice. I thought since both the sire and dam are exceptional producers I would be able to have an intact foal.

So I just got this beautiful boy, exactly what I wanted in color, PT score isn't horrible, and he papered A but came up as inconsistent and didn't pass SBA. Would it be worth it to do some GMT work on him or is the testing spot on and I shouldn't worry about it as disappointing as it is?

I'm still a bit rusty with the pricing and how much a horse is worth. i own a gelding foal. he's bred from my exceptional appaloosa breeding stallion, who would be a paper b stud. so i know this horse is only a show horse now, but I'm not entirely sure how much he is worth? his PT grade is 10.3 and he is consistent, he's a very gorgeous bay dun appaloosa warmblood? if you need more info to get a estimation, cause i do want to sell this stunning foal.

I'm sorry to make another discussion about this, I couldn't figure it out and I have the worst eye for DP...

I made this mare out of the ExPro Splash create, and she immediately jumped out as being exceptionally red, and she has no sooty. So naturally, I wondered if she had DP...

...and I got this foal. At first, I was a little disappointed because she is visibly not liver, but when I color tested her I noticed she has no sooty gene, but she is darker, right? She looks to me as dark as her dad (who has one sooty) below his varnish.

I want to start over on some of my lines. Like Dancers line make it the rabicano tobiano line that he was? How do I do this? I am up to 3g on his line? Any suggestions on how I do this?

I know that my show bonus May take a big hit but any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I know like with my machiato line I am only keeping horses intact that have the gene. Then they have to be superior to sire for my colts. I want to make Halloween Dancer line the way I dreamed of it.

I accidentally got some 1G mares in with my 2G "A" stud (planning on auctioning them and foals anyway), and was going through the pasture sorting out keep/reject. And I discovered this little guy This little guy passed BA, son of an A stud, and a foundation mare! With no pasture bonus!

2G3 Passed TP

Which brings up my question, and follow up question? How did this happen? How is BA calculated (I always guessed better than the average of the two parents but IDK)? And how is BA different than SBA (I always guessed better than both parents but I don't really know that either)

And of course I don't have the $ to even see what he is papered. Does this mean I should be keeping his momma? Lol, she is pretty.

Edit: Just noticed she was my r4 from a couple days ago, but still.

Basic Upgrade or Barn?

So I've been trying to save up hbs to buy a basic upgrade. Unfortunately I keep running out of barn room, and since my show bonus is so low, I can't really afford to just let the account sit with full stalls and wait to make enough money because it would take RL years lol.

So my dilemma is this - do I keep using my money to buy barns (usually the 15 stall ones because that's all I can afford) and forego the upgrade for at least several months, or do I keep trying to save my money for the upgrade and figure out some way to make my current barn space work? I can either just try to make do with no room, which I feel like would take forever to save up the money for the upgrade, or do I harshly sell a bunch of my horses to make room? I'm not necessarily super attached to many of my horses but they're pretty much all good quality (Perfect Foundations, Top Notch Producers, Rank Specials, etc.).

Any advice from those of you who've come before would be really appreciated!

PT/AFPT and Breeding Bonus Questions

Two questions!

1. If PT has nothing to do with breeding ability, how does AFPT determine a mare's breeding ability? For example, if you have something like a perfect foundation mare, so good breeding ability and good showing ability, she could produce a foal that has great breeding ability and mediocre showing ability, which might have a lower PT score and therefore reduce her AFPT, but she produced a good foal nonetheless. There must be more to the equation, can somebody explain it to me?

2. Somewhat simpler question! Where does a mare's breeding bonus take effect? Does it add to her breeding ability percentage or does it affect the foal's abilities directly?

Foal not showing on family tab

In my transactions it says that one of my mares had been bred to but It's didn't show as an alert (someone bred to your horse ????????). I've had a look at all my mares for brood but they're not showing any foals on their family tab. It says that one has had a foal but I cant find it anywhere.

This is the girl, Mystic rose was the one who used her.

Managing With 1 Pasture

This is another advice/opinion thread, but... I have a basic upgrade, and have not purchased another pasture. I'm trying to get all of my "keeper" (1g, 2G and misc and I have multiple studs with different mares for each gen too) mares the maximum pasture bonus but having a bit of a hard time with it. I constantly have create mares coming through, breeding and auctioning most as rejects. Because of this my keeper mares rarely stay longer than a day or two, and I've seen a hit to my quality. How do other people manage it with just 1pasture? ( Advice from multi-pasture people is appreciated too...)

Increasing In Hand Breeding Success

I've gotten in the habit of mostly using pasture breeding, for both cost and quality reasons. But I've started using some straws.

While I know the chances of an intact foal are naturally lower, but are there ways to maximize success? I know matching breeding quality helps, so it's best to breed C/Yellow, B/Red, etc. Given there's a range within each level, is there anyway to gauge whether the two horses are close within the ranges? Especially for lined horses/non PF?

I know PT doesn't impact a horse's breeding ability but does matching showing quality increase the chances of an intact foal? If the stallion has a PT of, say, 10.4 and the mare 9.9, will that decrease the chances of an intact foal or does SBA just gauge breeding ability and ignore PT completely?

I really really need to get my barns back in order. Several no the ago I was doing really good with heartless culling but life has been buay and I fell behind.
I'll be having my son sometime this month so im not sure if I'll be breeding (basically the 3rd month in a row) this season. But I do need to cull before life becomes completly hectic. I'm sure I'll go offgrid for a few months after birth and if like a cleaner slate to return. ~~I ramble to much~~

Okay so right now it's my 3rd generation that I'm going through. Over and over and still haven't made a dent. Feel like I'm to easy on my stallions. Not sure about the girls.
I'm also not sure about my 2nd gen herd. Can't tell if the 3rd gen quality is low due to poor 2nd gen stock/breeding practises and general neglect or if it's normal quality and I'm just being lazy.
