Is it a poor idea to "retire" breeding horses (ie. geld/spay them for the bonus and turn them into show ponies) that are no longer vital to your lines before they level out? Or is it better to continue to breed them and sell their offspring?

I imagine I will want my pasture space for higher generations in the future and I was wondering if it'd make more sense to convert breeding stock into showing stock to save on pasture space and make more money. 1) I decided to breed Appaloosas because I really love the unique color patterns and markings but I think I'm mixing up my Appys and Paints. I know Appaloosa is straight spots, but what is the difference between Appaloosa and Spotted, Tobiano, and Rabicano? Tobiano Appaloosa seems to make the best combos but I'm still experimenting.

2) When you breed two different horse types together, say Light and Medium, which type will the foal take? With mine, it seems to take the father's type but I haven't been checking.

3) I know foundation horses are those made from Creates, but what are the requirements for a lined horse?

Yet when I go back to the barn it says only the four I entered manually are in the auction. And all the horses in the barn are dark chestnuts/hetsb1 not limited edition genes.

Make her homo KP?
Add other genes.
Some I have considered
Frame ( I like the frames, I have more than I thought I did but still not a lot)
Rabicano (not that hard to breed in, but it'd be nice to have all of this on one horse)
kitm (Was surprised by how expensive this was does anyone know why?)
kit something (she only has 1 kit please correct me if I'm wrong)
