This guy got transferred into my barn sometime after the auction. I hadn't bid on him, I bought 2 mares for 5800 and no other transaction appears on my ledger. If no one claims him, I'll geld and keep him, but just in case its a glitch of some kind, I'll wait for a few hours (tomorrow sometime)...

I made a risky cross with one of my mares that doesn't fit in my breeding program to make a pretty show pony and because why not?

The dam has w1 and the sire is hom w8. According to the chart, this cross is safe if the foal's WF is none, minimal, or light, and fatal if the WF seeps to medium, large, or extensive.

The filly inherited both w1 and w8, and her WF is at medium, which means technically her Kit Mutation Load number is 110. So why isn't she dead?

I really don't know anything about DP but I have this stud and when I bought him his owner's notes said homozygous DP but a while back someone gave me a tip saying that he was heterozygous DP. I changed his owner's notes to heterozygous DP but I was not really sure witch one he actually is so is he hom or het DP? Thanks in advanced :)

So I have a lot of warmblood studs and the only reason I have them is because I love them all too much :)) But my question is should I just keep them all studs or geld the ones I don't use a lot and keep them for showing? I don't know what to do with them but I don't want to geld one that would be a great producer.

I am attempting to GMT a horse's gray gene. Changing it from gG to gg so the gray won't show, but it is not letting me. It says the horse already has that gene, but it only has on copy. Am I missing something?

Right now, I am just breeding my lines without paying attention to paper level or generations. I know that isn't smart because I won't get intact foals, but I don't know what way to breed them. Should i breed by paper level, which is what I am thinking I should do, or breed by generation? Or both? I am not sure. Any advice would be appreciated

Does the XP loading bar actually mean anything?

I was around 64 exp to my next stall and the loading bar looked more than halfway full.

Then I auctioned away some horses and was around 70 or 80, don't remember how many exactly, away but the bar looked very nearly full.

Now I'm at 18 exp away and the bar looks nearly empty.

Is the system just not perfected yet?

Which stallions would you keep for breed?

I have too many second generation stallions and I don't know which ones to sell, A Freaky Intentions is staying as I'm using him to add kitM into my lines, but I'm stuck on the rest. DG Golden Fire and NS Ive Dun Well have tested as good as each other, and better than the other three but NS The Right Sea is homozygous DP, argh decisions, I really only need 2 stallions though.

Living Foals Improving Future Foals?

I feel like I read somewhere that sometimes a mare's first foal is sort of a "dud" and that her foals after that would be better quality - and following that logic, that it would help to keep around a living foal, even if a dud, so that her future foals would be better.

Is this really true or am I wasting space hanging onto all these "dud" foals to cull later?

Similarly, I'm pretty sure that if a foal is culled (either sold back to game or sent to auction and not purchased - outcome is deleted from the game) that its PT score will no longer be factored into its parents' AFPT. Is this true? Does it matter if the foal is culled as a two year old? (basically will yummed 2yos still get deleted from the game - or is there a point when yummed horses still stick around in the Archive?)

Using the Search

Click the link under Community on the left menu that says Search Horses. It will take you to the search. The first page is pretty self-explanatory. (The additional tabs, ‘base color’ and ‘patterns’ take a little bit longer to learn how to use. Some knowledge of how genes work is needed)

Some helpful searches:

To get a list of all horses for sale, select Status>For Sale and click the Search Horses button. Remember, this is the public sales list…it is buyer beware! The only seller you can be sure is 100% reliable is “Hajinc Rescue”, as it is run by the game.

To get a list of horses you have for sale select Status>For Sale and Owner ID: Your ID#

When you want to post the list on the forum just copy the link on the menu bar and paste it onto the body of your forum post! (That top menu bar is also important to recognize because it can show barn and horse ID numbers.) If you want to just advertise one horse on the forum, go to the horses page and copy the link on the same menu bar.

I was under the impression that one could not sell Ice horses in the Public Auction, and yet I noticed a number of Ice of all genders sold. Has something changed, or what do I not understand.

After saving, selling, & competing for ages, I've finally saved up enough for a basic upgrade with game money!

However before I dive in & buy it, how long does it last? A month, a year, until the day I die? I just want to know before buying & finding it wouldn't be worthwhile for me as I'm rather infrequent on this site.

My foal got a -1 as a score in a show and got 2nd place even though she was the only horse in the event. Is this a bug or is my foal so bad at showing that she got 2nd out of 1?

I think this mare is a bad breeder and I'm thinking of spaying her I got her from a normal create from the public sales and she has had almost 10 foals and they are all alters but the weird thing is she passed SBA but she is not a good breeder at all

Just a bit unclear here. Do you have to own a foundation with the gene to get straws from someone else or can anyone buy one? I thought I read somewhere that you have to own one beforehand.. Help? I'd love a few snowflake lines with my appies but was unable to buy gmts when they were released.
