Is there a database of color results by any chance? Not sure if it’s quite how the system works, but I’m talking about, for example:

Breeding a grey horse with a bay horse can result in...

It would be pretty neat if there was something like that, just so players could more accurately breed for desirable colors. I mostly figure the whole point of the genetics is to figure out the combinations and genes by learning, but I’m just curious if such thing exists yet!

Probably a dumb question, but what is the difference between splash markings like the first two and the last one? I can't seem to find a genetic difference, so I was wondering if there is one that I'm not catching. The first two are some of my favorite markings in the game, while the third one is one of my least favorite. Is it possible to breed specifically for each marking or is it random? Does it have anything to do with white factor or w20?

1588783

1588775

1588742

Hi everyone! Since getting my Freaky Friday mare this morning, I've read through the other discussions regarding DP, and have become quite interested in breeding the gene. I have a few animals that I've bred as well as a few that I've purchased that I'm stuck on, and can't seem to identify them. I am hoping someone could help me out!

FFF FireWater

This fellow only has one copy of Ssty, but seems awfully dark? He's also the first 'A' papered stallion I've produced since re-joining the game- woot woot!

AAA 4G Meteoric Dawn

I bought this chap because I loved his crisp, red colour, in combination with being a Silver. I didn't learn that DP makes Wild Bays, Blood Bays until after I purchased him, so now I'm curious! He only has one copy of Ssty as well, thoughts on him?

SA The Vandal 3G

Another guy I bought. He isn't as bright red as Meteoric, but he's still bright-ish to me?

Another question- do Chocolate Pals always have 1 copy of DP? I produced this little gent today.

FFF ThisPalOfMine

AND these last two are ones that I am fairly confident are DP, but correct me if I'm incorrect to think that! I bought the filly and produced the colt :D

SA Carnival Art

FFF KingOfFreaks

Thanks in advance for any insight anybody provides!
I just bred this gourgous Stallion who happend to get two copies of white m unfortunately he is a B Papered 4G. How are two copies more beneficial then one? Would it be worth breeding him even thought his paper level is not ideal for his generation? She looks, to me, to be darker/redder than the "possible het dp" bays posted in the "shades of regular bay" post, and the "red patch" on her belly is smaller, which seems to correlate to the presence of dp. She is at least het dp, I'm sure. Her chestnut foal appears the same shade as her sire, the foal being sty dp and the sire being sty sty.

I plan to pull eggs next season and would like to breed to a hom dp stud to see what she produces.
