So few things make you want to spread the love like almost dying. I was sick enough that if I had not already been in the hospital I very well might have died Wednesday morning. I am so grateful to the doctors who saved my life and the amazing NICU team making sure Princess Flufflepuff survived to. (She is doing amazing by the way and is well a head of all her milestones)

I have only been home from the hospital for a few hours so keeping this short and sweet. But seriously. Just enjoy this with me, and go hug someone you love.

I'll leave this sale up for at least week. <3

Currently in the hospital: Info about Holiday events.

So some not so good news. On Monday it was noticed that my blood pressure was climbing and I was put on preeclampsia watch. Yesterday afternoon I was admitted to my local hospital in hypertensive crises. My blood pressure was so high I was in immediate danger. They were able to stabilize me at the local hospital enough for an ambulance ride but I was a very close life flight helicopter trip.

I've been transferred to the absolute premier high risk pregnancy and nicu units in the state. My blood pressure while still high is back in safe ranges this morning. They are telling me I won't be going home with out delivering. Since my prognosis is very good at this time (no additional symptoms or evidence of organ issues) they feel that they will be able to keep me stable until 34 or 35 when they will induce her at 5 or 6 weeks premature, but things could change at any moment still.

I will be living in the hospital for the next month or so. During that time there is no reason why I can't do some light work like processing ice payments and turning on some of the Holiday events etc. (Haystack will be helping with this too) however, for obvious reasons a good amount of what was scheduled to happen is now cut back or canceled. Haystack and I will be evaluating the list to see what is doable now once I am a bit more stable.

I will update info as I have it to share.

Gael is in charge while I am hospitalized. Behavior wise, If someone even sneezes in a way that raises my blood pressure it's an instant ban that will be reevaluated only after we are home from the hospital, and you all know she is 10 times meaner and less forgiving then I am so be extra good. She's basically HAJ Krampus so BE GOOD!

Nexus Update

The star field for nexus horses has been updated to be fully dynamic and much more cosmic.

I re-rolled between the first image and the below two. The below ones where edited in the GMT lab but NOT re rolled. You can see how the genes changed but the dynamic parts of the image did not. Figured I would show off the new seed based generation system too.

Update to how pastures auto breed

We have had continuing issues with auto breeding on pastures. There just is too many horses to process so I have made the following changes.

Your pastures will automatically trigger to breed
-When the date is the 14th day of breeding season or later
-This is the very first time you have logged in during on the 14th or later

Just logging in or looking at your stable home page will trigger them and send your email. An alert pops up at the top of the screen letting you know this happened.

Just like how things are now if you miss this auto trigger you will have to manually trigger pastures. It only tries once. That way it is not breeding all the time on you. Just the one time is automatic.

The pastures will then run for everyone who has not logged in at the very end of breeding season to catch any stragglers.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT A PASTURE BRED DON'T LEAVE THE STALLIONS IN THERE. I am not responsible for pastures triggering to early for your liking. You know pastures trigger automatically and sometimes at rather odd times. If you are waiting on boosts for your mares don't keep the studs in the pasture with them. Just like real life girls + boys together means babies and they don't care about your schedule. Don't keep studs and mares together if you don't want babies yet.

Appalosa Update Alpha 0.2 is out

Bronzing and the basics of varnish are now rendering for all horses in game. Expanding varnish is next on the project list.

The generator has changed so that means marking will change when you refresh the image. (That will happen every time the generator updates).

Appaloosa Update Alpha

I have made a lot of progress on the new appaloosa system and while there is a long ways to go still the new fully dynamic blankets are ready for release.

-You can use the refresh button on the page of any appy to see the new markings you do not need to reroll.
-Varnish, dynamic spots etc are all still in the works
-There will be some layering issues with other markings for a while. Just ignore them.

Chili Cook Off: A little bit of everything Fall!

The Rules
You have between now and noon on Monday the 21st to make something creative.
It can be a poem, some art work (digital or physical), a craft project, a floral arrangement. I don't care just be creative!
The piece must represent the spirit of Fall to you.
It must be created from start to finish between now and noon on the 21st.
To enter share your work below.
Multiple entries are allowed but each entry must be a different kind of creative work.
Groups of the same kind of work (5 poems for example) count as a single entry.

The Prizes!
Prizes will be in game credit. Grand prize will be a "gift certificate" for 100 dollars worth of purchases. Can be used on items from the upgrade store, for Premium upgrades, for Just-Missed-It/Dp/Brindle sales etc. (Credit must be spent by the end of the month.)
Amount of additional prizes will be decided based on number of entries.
This is a cross server contest and prizes and entries are pooled. You can post on HJ1 or HJ2.

Do you have a lined horse you would love to GMT but can't because that gene is not in the lab? Here is your chance to place those missed non GMTable genes onto your horses. Including Brindle!

Only lined horses, age 4 or less, with zero foals can be used.
Only missed genes can be added. For example you can not add a second copy of satin if only one parent had satin.
If in doubt ask below before placing your order.
Any horse can have brindle added regardless of parents.
All orders must be placed by the end of the 23rd game time.

Price is 10 US dollars per copy to add brindle.
Price is 5 US dollars per copy to add a missed gene

10 US dollar minimum per order. You can mix and match horses but at least 10 dollars must be spent.

Pearl, champagne and genetic testing updates

Pearl and Champagne genes have been converted from the old CP4 color system to the new CP5 color system and are now more dynamic and accurate and they properly interact with other colors now. They will under go some more tweaks in the future but are at a place now where you can reroll your images and see the new look.

Genetic testing also underwent an update today. Only a few genes now show by default in the horse gene test info area. Other genes are hidden if the horse has the wild type form of the gene (does not carry the pattern/color). The gene shows up if that horse has the mutation. Rare genes and pattern genes are hidden unless the horse has them. The point of this is to limit confusion among members and make reading the gene test results simpler.

So Horses now only show E, A, C, D, G, F, S and P by default. These defaults may be adjusted in the future

Some members did a great write up showing that income was earned at the same rat on HJ2 as on HJ1 but that expenses happened twice as often. I have increased the point bonus you get each week by 50%. We will see where that puts everyone before making further adjustments. Thanks for your feedback all.
